Others are things that will make the trip more enjoyable (campsites usually have carts to help carry your items. However, it is usually challenging to locate one that is not in use. Bringing a wagon or sled means you do not have to hunt for an unused cart). If you are going to either Tomahawk (Camp Navajo) or Phillippo (Camp Akela) Scout Reservations, visit their sites to find valuable information, forms and maps. The sites also have pictures and videos to show you what to expect when you are at camp.
There is plenty to do and see at these camps and your child will definitely find several activities that will excite and challenge them. One of the best parts of attending these outings is watching your child grow through the experiences that they will encounter.
